MARIEL NELMS, Founder & LEAD PHOTOGRAPHER
With a formal education in Interior Design, and a notable part of my pre-photography days working for a Social Media SaaS technology company, I am uniquely equipped to support the marketing efforts of companies within the construction and design space through modern, highly professional and effective images for their websites, social accounts and advertising campaigns. I have been self employed as a photographer since early 2017, owning and operating two unique photography businesses: Note Photography (a wedding photography business which I still run alongside my husband seasonally) as well as my commercial photography business, Mariel Nelms Photography. Being able to facilitate growth for individuals and businesses through my images is so rewarding. I am a creative soul through and through, and being able to use my skills as a photographer to help others fills me with purpose. When I am not working, you can find me spending time with my family, renovating our 90’s townhouse in South Surrey one room at a time, or working in my garden, growing new and interesting varieties of vegetables I’ve never tried before! I am inspired by sustainable living practices, innovative design and construction techniques, and passionate people.
